Woman entrepreneurs, a force to be reckoned with!

Are you a woman and own your own business?

Did you know that 4 out of 5 businesses are started by women?

Although it is changing, the sad news is that women are still making less money (on average) than the guys. (But thankfully that gap is getting smaller!)

Running your own business is not for the faint of heart. It’s takes tenacity, grit, courage and commitment (and help!) to be successful.

Being President of my local Women’s Business Network, I see so many women struggle and eventually just give up and go back to being an employee.

For some of them, that’s their path, and it’s okay.

But for the ladies that know in their gut and believe in what they do, too many of them give up – just when the door was about to swing wide open to their dreams.

Why? They don’t have the skill and knowledge (the key to unlock the door) and they don’t know how to ask or where to look for help.

Most of the time I hear this; “I don’t have any money to get help…. I can’t afford to get help….”

Another common reason; “My partner just doesn’t support me, and is putting pressure on me to either start making money or go back to reality and get a job.”

Ouch. That one hurts and is definitely a dream and confidence killer…. ☹

So, if you can relate – let me ask you this:

  • Did you start your own business to have all the freedom, flexibility, fulfillment, family-time, and fun that life has to offer? But – lately you’ve realized that you’ve traded them all in for frustrated, frazzled, and freakin’ tired?!
  • Finding that you’re compromising the things you value the most because you’re not working with enough of the right customers?
  • Having problems keeping yourself accountable?
  • No free time?
  • Sales are down and cashflow sucks?

Been there done that… I’ve felt all of that in my 13 years owning my own business.

What has saved my sanity and cashflow? Getting help.

Seriously, as women we tend to think that we can do it all, oh, and we should be able to juggle everything… after all we are great at multi-tasking! Not! That is a story that we tell ourselves.

The truth is that we need to give it our all, and if we don’t know how or can see where we are stuck, then we need to ask for help… a foreign concept for women who historically have put themselves on the back burner for others.

Let’s not sugar coat this (you know me I’m a straight shooter – and I want you to get results!) … you need to make money in your business to survive! Cashflow is key!

Money allows us to make better choices!

Agree?

But you know that, you are not stupid.

So, if you committed to your success, willing to show up, do the work, and play full out; Your dreams will come true.

And if you could do it by yourself, you would have already!

Don’t waste any more time and get the help you need, be it a branding coach, sales coach, fellow entrepreneur, or me – a money coach … and build that dream business!

No more excuses!

As my friend Jo Dibblee says: You must stop being the best kept secret!

Your future clients are waiting for you and wanting what you have to offer. Don’t stop thinking and dreaming big. Believe that the possibilities are way more interesting than your excuses and stories!

If you are struggling financially, look at it as little hiccup on the path to greatness.

Why?

Because your uniqueness is exactly what someone needs, and you are ripping them off by not getting yourself out there!

I have had times when I’ve wanted to give up or I lack the confidence to go forward… I am grateful that when I have lost my focus that friends, mentors and coaches have come into my life and helped me get back on track.

If I can do it, so can you… Believe and listen to your heart!

Big hugs to your future successes! You got this… I believe in you! ♥
